“Il Cagnacci esiliato”
Guido Cagnacci, L’Allegoria della vita umana
This painting, excluded–“exiled”–from an exhibition of Cagnacci’s works in Rimini curated by Federico Zeri, Mina Gregori and Andrea Emiliani on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the city’s first sea bathing establishment, was shown on its own at the Grand Hotel Rimini by its owner (and Zeri’s rival), Vittorio Sgarbi.
